Porsche 917K – 1970 DAYTONA winner. The cost of this one of the rarest cars in the world is $12,962.00. The price is due to the uniqueness of the car – only 199 copies rolled off the assembly line.
So, the early PORSCHE 917K was based on the 4.5-liter Flat-12 engine developed by Hans Mezger. Racing engines in 1969 produced 580 hp. s., which was already surprising for that time. Later models were equipped with 4.9, 5.0 and 5.4 liter units, each providing a corresponding increase in performance and top speed 200 km/h. This model is the most technologically advanced vehicle of that time and is also very expensive car that took part in the world sportscar championship.
